Transfer of employment in Saudi Arabia requires careful HR and immigration compliance management. Internal transfers within the same legal entity require updates to employment contracts and Qiwa records. Transfers between legal entities — particularly where sponsorship changes — require full sponsorship transfer processing through Muqeem and Qiwa, updating the Iqama profession code if the role changes and ensuring the receiving entity maintains Nitaqat headcount compliance.
