Saudi Labor Law
Paid and unpaid sick leave entitlements for employees in Saudi Arabia as defined under Saudi Labor Law.
Under Saudi Labor Law, employees are entitled to sick leave after completing their probation period. The entitlement structure is: the first 30 days at full pay, the next 60 days at 75% pay and any additional sick leave up to 30 days unpaid within a single year. Sick leave must be supported by a medical certificate from a certified healthcare provider. Employers cannot terminate an employee solely due to illness during the sick leave period. Accurate sick leave tracking through HR systems is essential for compliance and payroll accuracy. Inclusive Solutions manages sick leave administration as part of its HR management services.
