Fixed-Term Contract

Fixed-Term Contract

An employment contract with a specified end date used for project-based or temporary roles in Saudi Arabia.

A fixed-term contract in Saudi Arabia specifies a defined start and end date. These contracts are commonly used for project-based work, seasonal employment and roles tied to specific deliverables. Under Saudi Labor Law, if a fixed-term contract expires and the employee continues to work without a new contract being signed, the contract is deemed to have converted to an indefinite-term contract — providing the employee with full ongoing employment protections. All contracts must be attested on Qiwa. Inclusive Solutions drafts and manages fixed-term contracts as part of its HR management services.
