Saudi Labor Law
A defined initial employment period during which either party may terminate the contract with minimal or no notice.
Under Saudi Labor Law, the probation period cannot exceed 90 days unless mutually agreed to extend up to a maximum of 180 days. During probation, either the employer or employee may terminate the employment contract without notice and without the obligation to pay End-of-Service Benefits unless stated in the contract. Once probation is completed, the full protections of Saudi Labor Law apply. Probation periods must be clearly stated in the employment contract and registered on Qiwa. Inclusive Solutions ensures probation clauses are correctly drafted and documented in all employment agreements.
