Saudi Labor Law
A legally binding agreement between employer and employee that defines terms and conditions of employment in Saudi Arabia.
A labor contract in Saudi Arabia is the foundational legal document governing the employment relationship. Under Saudi Labor Law, all employment contracts must be in writing, in Arabic and registered on the Qiwa platform for attestation. Contracts must include the start date, job title, remuneration, probation period, working hours and any applicable allowances. Fixed-term contracts automatically convert to indefinite-term contracts if the employee continues working after expiry without renewal. Contracts that deviate from Saudi Labor Law minimums are void to the extent of the deviation. Inclusive Solutions drafts and attests employment contracts as part of its HR and outsourcing services.
