Hajj Leave

A special paid leave entitlement for Muslim employees to perform the Hajj pilgrimage once during their employment.

Under Saudi Labor Law, Muslim employees are entitled to a special paid Hajj leave of up to 15 days once during their employment with the same employer. This entitlement is a one-time right per employment relationship — not per year — and requires that the employee has been with the employer for at least two years. The employee must provide advance notice of their intention to take Hajj leave. Non-Muslim employees are not entitled to Hajj leave. Inclusive Solutions ensures Hajj leave policies are correctly documented and administered as part of its HR management services.
